OUR SCHOOL IS BASED AT DANCEWORLD STUDIOS IN LAINDON

Danceworld Stage School was established in 1982 by Pat Finnegan (Founder/Director) and is now run by her daughter, Kerry Nastri who is the Principal and Director

Danceworld Stage School has state-of-the-art studios in Southfields Business Park, Laindon near Basildon. There are 4 studios with air conditioning/heating, mirrors and ballet barres: a luxury lounge area for parents and students to relax in between classes.

Our dancewear shop is fully stocked, plus we have an intercom system and CCTV for security, and the bonus of ample parking.

We are open 7 days a week.

Class choices have expanded over the years with the addition of Acrobatics, Contemporary dance, along with Street dance, Cheerleading, Musical Theatre, Singing, Drama and of course the core subjects of Ballet, Modern and Tap dancing.

We are delighted to see our students perform, whether in our own productions, or in the many semi-professional and professional productions that they audition for. Many are working in film, television, on stage in London’s West End, or touring.

We are so proud of them all.

Examination work at Danceworld is encouraged, with the students studying for their grade examinations in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Stage, Acro and Contemporary, and medal tests for Cheerleading and Freestyle (Street). Students also study for LAMDA examinations in Drama, Mime, Singing and Musical Theatre.

Danceworld is a CDMT recognised school and is affiliated with BATD, IDTA, ABD and LAMDA.
