CARLY 

With a passion for dance, Carly is a dedicated and versatile dance teacher, specialising in ballet, tap, modern, and contemporary dance styles. Her journey in the world of dance began at the age of 3. Carly trained throughout school and college and then continued to develop her passion for performing and teaching dance by studying at Middlesex university. Carly achieved a high class BA Hons degree in Dance Performance as well as training with the BATD to gain her teachers, Membership and Fellowship teaching qualifications. Carly has been a dance teacher in secondary school and at Danceworld for the last 20 years. Carly enjoys watching students evolve and be the best they can be.

As a teacher, she encourages a strong foundation of technique and artistry in her students, ensuring they develop the poise and discipline essential for each style, and helps students to explore the boundaries of movement and expression. Carly imparts her knowledge of dance techniques and encourages students to explore their creativity, enabling them to tell unique stories through movement. She fosters a supportive and inclusive environment in her classes, nurturing each student’s individuality while helping them grow as dancers and artists.

In addition to her role as a teacher Carly continues to attend training and development sessions to enable her to continue to develop knowledge of dance, as well as enjoying many days out watching professional dance. This allows Carly to stay connected to the evolving world of dance. Carly has taken on roles within examining for education exam boards to ensure her subject knowledge is always being extended and is current for all students. She remains dedicated to passing on the rich traditions and innovations of ballet, tap, modern, and contemporary dance to future generations of dancers.
